We have many opportunities so let us know what areas spark your interest. Many positions do not require attendance at Board meetings but would be tremendously helpful in keeping our community programs strong for both children and adults.

Volunteer - Opportunities

  • Membership: assist with annual membership drive, mailings, lobby display, membership benefit solicitation. Time requirement: 10 – 15 hours Jan - April.

  • Newsletter: assist with article research, writing, publication, distribution, and mailing. Time requirement: 5 – 10 hours per issue April/Oct.

  • Prop Party Volunteer Coordinator: work with Costume Manager and Prop Manager at annual work party to assign volunteers to workstations and oversee activities. Time requirement: approximately 14 hours (mid Nov. weekend). Additionally, help coordinate snacks for this event.

  • Inventory Coordinator: help inventory our supplies and order the leotards, dance bags and t-shirts that are provided to the community and dancers in the P&R program. Time requirement: approximately 3 hours per session.

  • Bake Sale Volunteer Coordinator: contact volunteers and assign shifts for Food Sales at the Spring Dance Show. Time requirement: approximately 3 hours.

  • Fundraising: ongoing effort to research revenue opportunities through grants, business sponsorships, or other avenues. Time requirement: how much do you have to give?

  • Facebook: Help oversee and post on the Association Facebook page. Time requirement: unknown.

  • Dance Show Volunteer Coordinator: contact volunteers and assign shifts for load in, set up, take down, load out, and decorating for Holiday Festival of Dance and Spring Dance Show. Time requirement: 1 – 3 hours per show.

  • Other: What’s your expertise? Publicity? Community Outreach? Hospitality? Sage Advice? We would love to have you be an active part of our Association.
